The average interest rate on the 30 year loan caused a 4.1% decline in mortgage. Thinking about interest rates I start today’s show by talking about exercising non-qualified stock options and paying taxes on them in retirement. I also discuss taking advantage of low interest and bond rates by paying off your mortgage going into retirement and why this wasn’t necessarily the best idea in the past. Other topics include:
