2020 has been a rollercoaster of a year, and it only starts with the pandemic. The S&P 500 was down 20% in Q1 and then Q2 up almost 20% in Q2.
It’s the last day of the second quarter and the S&P 500 is down only about 3% for the year despite the pandemic. This year has been nothing short of a roller coaster and it is reflected in the quarter-to-date returns.
