Today Kym gives us a full wrap up of the top innovations from last week’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. First Phil McKinney calls in and he and Kym discuss which companies they found to be the most exciting such as Phone Soap, an LED phone sanitizer and wearables with Bluetooth headphones incorporated from Ashley Chloe. Then, Extreme Tech Challenge judge and investor Veronica Serra calls and gives us her thoughts about the three companies chosen to pitch to Sir Richard Branson. Kym also chats with Eric Dy of Bloom Technologies which makes a wearable that tracks contractions during your third trimester. She finds out how he got the idea to start taking guesswork out of pregnancies, as well as other factors he is looking to track to reassure mom her pregnancy is normal. Finally Kym wraps up with Chris Crescitelli on the most anticipated news from CES, virtual reality. Chris talks about the battle between the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive and how they can stay out of a niche market with sensory overload and headaches being a problem.
